I was really hungry when I drew this one.

I think that hunger is reflected in the gauntness of this unfortunate cat.

Perhaps I should draw him a nice plump fish.

I saw this ad, and I just thought, "Hey! That's a nude gecko!"

I couldn't have him running around in his skivvies, so I gave him a new look.

I left off his shirt, though, to be fair. He takes after me, eh?

Evolution

I drew this after reading a particularly good "Bill the Galactic Hero" novel.

Yeah, it was about these fuzzy little things that, like, evolved into these scaly big things.

So I guess my inspiration is pretty obvious.
